About Stein-Erik 

Norwegian by heritage, Stein-Erik Skaar is an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. Whether its trail running, mountain biking, triathlon training, surfing, skating, snowboarding, rock climbing, or bootcamping; training hard on strength and endurance has enabled him to help others reach their goals as well as reach his own.

 

Certified as a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise(ACE),Crossfit, and TRX Advanced Group Instruction. He is also TRX qualified in Functional Training, Suspension Training, Group and Rip Training, and has studied under Mark Twight and Bobby Maximus' tutelage at Gym Jones in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Stein began his personal training career in 2001 at Class 5 Climbing and Fitness in San Rafael and served as General Manager of Berkeley Ironworks, one of the nation’s premier Climbing and Fitness facility in Berkeley, CA.  He then worked out of Five Points Fitness where he refined his ability to instruct large groups in class settings as well as in the gym. He has worked and taught classes at Mt. Tam Racquet Club in Larkspur, Ca. , Pilates Pro Works in Larkspur Ca., NOW Yoga in Corte Madera, and the TRX Training Center in San Francisco Ca.  Stein also is the Conditioning Coach for the Redwood High School boys and girls Lacrosse program which has won several MCAL championships as well as two NCS titles.  He is available for personal training at home or outside.  

 

Stein lives in San Rafael Ca. with his wife Karmin.

About Margaret

Margaret Schimmel is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and has an extensive sports and fitness background. Over the years, she has taught Martial Arts, Dance, Gymnastics, Barre, yoga, cycling and more. Born and raised in Mill Valley, CA, Margaret naturally loves hiking, biking, snowboarding, surfing, climbing and anything that involves movement. Being a new mom also keeps Margaret very busy! She is Barre certified by Basics of Barre and has taken courses on TRX training, Prenatal and Postpartum fitness and loves expanding her knowledge of the body and its movement in any way she can.
